Ideas from Cathy’s Classy Cheeseboard
Cathy did a wonderful job sharing her special tips on how to create a fabulous spread of cheese and charcuterie for guests. Exotic fruit bursting with color was added to this special centerpiece.
Cutting slices of cheese and forming them into a tee pee are easy for guests to pick.
Placing your cheese vertical or sticking out from platter is better for height and interest.
She considers this her log cabin complete with an herb chimney and grape and olive bushes.
Lovely colored shish kabob with tomatoes, feta, and mango placed in an oversized martini glass.
Cathy created this masterpiece as she was speaking to her guests.

There is a cheese that you have and I don’t know the name , but I believe it comes from Italy, The last time I was there for the cheese workshop you had it at the store and it had dried fruit on top and vacuum packaged and were taste testing for customers to try. It was very expensive for a small wedge. Can you tell me what the name of it was and if you still have it in stock g.
The workshop was one of the best that I ever attended, great presentation and love the dining experience.

Thank you for your interest and nice comments. The cheese you are talking about is Beppino Occelli’s Grappa. It is in our cheese department and our cheese ladies would love to cut a slice just for you. – Meredith Ender, Herma’s Fine Foods & Gifts
