Herma’s now carries quality baskets with deluxe picnic service from Picnic Time that make picnicking a pleasure. All plates, glasses, silverware, and more are nestled beautifully in their own belts and pockets.

The Highlander

The Highlander picnic basket has old world charm and sophistication like no other basket. This rich chestnut brown willow basket is lined with quilted red tartan cotton and has deluxe service for four. It includes 4 plates, 4 hand-blown wine glasses, 4 sets of cutlery, 1 stainless steel cheese knife, 1 waiter-style corkscrew, 1 food storage container, 1 set of salt and pepper shakers, 1 insulated wine duffel, 1 hardwood cutting board, and 1 picnic blanket.

The Barrel

The exquisitely handcrafted Barrel picnic basket was designed with elegance and romance in mind. The Barrel is a barrel-shaped, two-lid willow basket with deluxe service for two. Includes: 2 plates, 2 napkins, 2 hand-blown wine glasses, 1 tablecloth, 2 sets of cutlery, 1 set of salt and pepper shakers, and 1 waiter-style corkscrew.

The Kabrio – Anthology

It is like no other wine basket you will find. Made of willow with a soft insulated cover, it features an integrated wooden table top, perfect for resting wine glasses or food items. Includes 2 hand-blown wine glasses, 2 napkins, 1 waiter-style corkscrew, and knife.

St. Jean Baptiste Day is an important holiday in Quebec that will be celebrated this Friday, June 24th. Because we carry fantastic Quebecois cheeses at Herma’s, we wish to commemorate St. Jean Baptiste Day on Saturday with lots of their cheeses for you to sample and take home. Cheeses like…

14 Arpent (raw sheep)

A farm cheese made from the whole milk of brown Swiss cows. This square-shaped cheese is creamy with the slight taste of hazelnut.

Bleu d’ Elizabeth

This cheese contains a balance of textures and flavours that harmonize perfectly. It is firm, but with a nice crumble that becomes creamy on the palate. The combination of  sour-cream and salty notes are carried to a delicious buttery finish.

A lovely Quebecois country pate with cranberry and 5 game meats including ostrich, pheasant, venison, wild boar and bison. Serve with a nice bottle of French red.
